    With over 75% of our garments now produced on recycled fabrics, we're proud reducing our environmental impact through responsible and ethical practices in the production of our garments.

    Recycled Tees.

    Our selection of tees are now offered on premium 100% Recycled Cotton Jersey.

    How does it work?

    We collect cotton fibres from discarded and upcycled clothing which are then re-spun into a premium cotton yarn and knitted into fabric.

    Recycled fabrics can often be produced and output at a superior quality to their original use, so there's no compromise on the Cools quality you know and love.

    Recycled Sweatshirts.

    Our hoods & sweats are constructed on 50% Recycled Cotton / 50% Polyester Fleece.

    How does it work?

    Our Recycled Cotton is collected from discarded and upcycled clothing and fabrics which are then re-spun into premium cotton yarn and knitted into fabric.

    Our Polyester is obtained from recycled plastics (Plastic bottles, Plastic buckets etc). The plastic waste is shredded, heated at 200 degrees then carded and spun in yarn which is knitted alongside our recycled cotton to make the fabric.

    Recycled Shirts.

    Our party shirts are constructed from 100% Recycled Rayon & 100% Recycled Cotton.

    How does it work?

    With a significant amount of discarded clothing and fabrics globally, we adopt a ‘One man’s trash is another man’s treasure’ policy and obtain our cotton yarns from recycled suppliers in Southern Asia.

    Such yarns have been re-combed and spun into premium qualities in which we weave into our woven shirting fabrics.

    Recycled Swim.

    Our swim trunks are constructed from 65% Recycled Polyester / 35% Cotton / 3% Elastane.

    How does it work?

    From the design process to delivering on your doorstep, we're committed to delivering our products on 100% biodegradable and eco-friendly packaging.

    When our products arrive to our warehouse, all Barney Cools styles are delivered on our custom biodegradable packaging poly bags.

    Since 2020, we've been shipping with our pals at Hero Packaging to ship your favourite threads on 100% compostable and eco-friendly packaging.

    Thread Together.

    We're a foundational partner of Thread Together and have aided their efforts in saving over 2.9 million items from landfill and clothing over 500,000 vulnerable people with regular donations.

    Thread Together's model is simple (and quite genius): They collect end-of-line brand new stock from fashion retailers around the country. With the support of volunteers, the clothes are sorted in readiness to be distributed to people in need through our national network of charities and social service agencies.

    We're committed to continue working with Thread Together to clothe individuals, families and communities in need to restore dignity and provide hope for people doing it tough.

    Whales & Dolphin Conservation (WDC).

    Since 2021, we've partnered with Whale & Dolphin Conservation to do our bit in creating healthy seas, ending captivity, stop whaling and preventing deaths in nets for the Cools Cetaceans of the sea.

    WDC are the leading global charity dedicated to the conservation and protection of whales and dolphins around the globe.  

    Each World Orca Day (July 14th), we're committed to donating 100% of our sales from any Orca-inspired styles to our pals at WDC and beyond that, we donate 10% of profits from any Orca styles.
