The Cools Collective is amped to announce that we’ve aligned forces with the Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience (better known as AIME) for their WE:IMAGINE campaign.
Since 2005, AIME have led the charge in bridging the educational gap in Australia by innovatively inspiring over 25,000 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander legends participation in education through their mentoring programs.
WE:IMAGINE aims to collectively reflect on what a fairer world looks like and build a common vision of the world we imagine together over the next 10 years.

At Barney Cools, we pledge to sustain real diversity and inclusivity and support movements and initiatives developed to create a fairer world... socially and environmentally.
In 2020/21, we’re taking the first steps to hold ourselves accountable by:
• Launching an Indigenous art collaboration with % of proceeds to our friends at AIME.
• Encouraging inclusivity across all Cools content through the use of diverse talent and contributors.
• Expanding our recycled fabrics ‘recyCOOLS’ program to our entire core product offering.
And that‘s only the beginning... we hope you’ll join us to stand and create change.
HOODIE DAY!
On Monday the 10th of August, we’ll be encouraging our homies to get behind AIME’s hoodie day to launch their WE:IMAGINE campaign.
The hood, constructed from upcycled materials and featuring artwork from kids from the three contintents they operate in features an action patch on the right and a rad panelled design. Disclaimer: We have not produced this hood.
All proceeds will go to AIME’s continued efforts to tackling education inequality in Australia and around the world. Purchase one for yourself or a mate and go in the running to win a $500 voucher to spend on Barney Cools or Cools Club. One entry per purchase, winner announced 10th of September.
